Alejandro Murillo Castillo, known lovingly as "Woody" to his friends and family, was a beacon of humble, reliable love, and smart wit to all who knew him. Born on February 12, 2002, in Lincoln, Nebraska, Alejandro's life was a testament to the joy and strength that can be found in the bonds of family and the simple pleasures of life. He was a man who loved cruising the open roads, casting lines on quiet fishing trips, and savoring the shared laughter and stories that come with family cookouts. His daughter, Aurora Lulu Murillo Martinez, was his twin flame, the light of his life, and a living testament to Alejandro's loving and gentle spirit.
Alejandro's work ethic was unparalleled. As a laborer in the construction industry, he showed up every day ready to build, create, and lend a hand. His colleagues knew him as a reliable and smart teammate, always ready with a solution and a smile. His ability to turn hard work into an occasion for camaraderie and joy was a skill that extended beyond the construction site and into every aspect of his life.
Alejandro was a faithful servant of God and the Catholic Church. As it is said in Matthew 5:16, "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." This verse truly embodied Alejandro's life. His love for his family, his dedication to his work, and his joy in his hobbies all shone brightly, illuminating the lives of those around him.
Alejandro is survived by his father, Juan Murillo; his daughter, Aurora Lulu Murillo Martinez; his significant other, Cindy Martinez; and his brother, Juan Murillo Castillo. He was preceded in death by his mother, Aurora Castillo, and his grandfathers, Gerardo Castillo Solano and Alejandro Murillo.
