Catherine "Jolene" Corbin Obituary (1946 - 2019)

Catherine "Jolene" Corbin, 73, of Lincoln, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019. Jolene was born to Herbert and Mildred Uhing (Entrekin), on April 9, 1946 in Oakland, NE. Jolene was an employee at Tabitha Health Care for 30+ years before retiring in 2011. Jolene was united in marriage to John Corbin on September 24, 1966. They were high school sweethearts. From this marriage came 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardens, and she was famous for her holiday sweets. Jolene lived for her kids and grandkids. She was lovingly known as Gramzie. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Jolene is survived by her children; Jeff Corbin, of Lincoln, Julie (Tim) Kushner of Huntington Beach, CA, Jon Corbin, of Lincoln, Jill (Jeremy) Wilken, of Pleasant Dale, NE, Jessica (Gavin) Felix, of Lincoln. Her grandchildren; Emilie (Tanner) O'toole, Duncan Corbin, Max and Eva Kushner, Kayla Wilken, & Archer Felix and her great-grandson Calvin O'toole. A sister; Barbara (Darwin) Ruwe of Tekamah, a brother; Mike (Kathy) Uhing of Craig. A sister in law; Kathy (Steve) Willnerd. A brother in law; Charlie (Mary) Corbin, of Lincoln. Many nieces and nephews, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband, John, and her parents. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday September 12, 2019 at 10:30 AM.
