Charlie Bennett Jr

Charlie Bennett Jr, 80, of Lincoln, passed away on November 3, 2026, peacefully. He was born on March 31, 1946, in Shreveport, LA. He came to Lincoln for his education at UNL, where he obtained his master's degree in Social Work. He was employed as CPS and worked with the DHHS for 40 years.

Charlie married Paula Bower on November 22, 1965. To this marriage the couple had three daughters: Michelle Rene, Danielle Denise, and Shayne Morgan.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Bennett; his three daughters; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; one great grandchild; and his mother figure Cora Bennett and father figure Richard Bennett.
