Chloe Lolita Goins Rowell, aka Lele (lee-lee) was born January 28, 1963 in Greensboro, NC to Winfred & Lemuel Goins. She was the third youngest of 6 children, having one sister and four brothers. She passed Wednesday, September 14, 2022 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 59 years. \n \nChloe was a woman with a keen intuition. She was a lover of music: she sang, danced, and was an avid fan of house. She had an eye for color and composition, and it showed in her home, the flowers and plants she loved, and her impeccable fashion sense. Chloe loved being a wife and a mother, and she was fiercely protective of those dear to her. She filled the role of honorary mother to many, always keeping her house full of great food, great company, and great laughs. Her laugh was infectious, and she was not shy about speaking her mind, whether it was a witty remark or a stern word. Chloe loved God, held herself and others to a high standard, and changed the course of several lives for the better.\n\nChloe is survived by Michael Rowell, her husband of 28 years, her three children Tess, Abram, and Rachel, and her two grandchildren, Caden and Caris.\n\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, and her oldest brother Timothy.\n\nCelebration of Chloe's Life: Monday, September 19, 2022 at 7:00PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.
