Cody Thomas

Cody Christopher Thomas, 46, of Lincoln, departed the physical world on April 25, 2021. Born September 3, 1974, in Lincoln, Nebraska he was the eldest son of Terry and Dianne (Stoner) Thomas.
Cody was the proud father to one son, Jayden Lynn. Together they shared a love of video games and classic cars. Cody was a Journeyman Wireman with the IBEW Local 265 for nearly 8 years and worked many years prior with area electrical companies. Cody was artistic, intelligent, creative, and had a great sense of humor. He loved blowing things up on the 4th of July, was a force to be reckoned with on the dance floor, he loved Husker football but loved Star Wars even more.
Cody and his brothers shared a deep bond. God is indeed proud that they have always done their best to be their "brother's keeper".
Cody is survived by his son, Jayden Farquhar; grandmother, Julia Thomas; parents, Dianne and Cliff Lawton and Terry and Rita Thomas; brother and sister-in-law, Casey and Kelly Thomas; brother, Caleb Thomas; and long-time friend, Shelley Minzel, all of Lincoln. Cody was also very loved by a large extended family of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
At this time, arrangements are pending.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
