Donte' Shields Obituary (1993 - 2021)

Donte' Lavon Shields was born March 3rd 1993 in Oak Park, IL to Andrea Denise Shields who proceeds him in death. He was very energetic and loved to draw and dance. In his later years he lived in Lincoln NE with his grandmother and attended Lincoln High School. Donte' was no stranger to a good time and many knew him for being the life of the party. Though he was known by names such as Scooby and Tako Hunnid , Donte' was a son , a brother , a grandson, a nephew , an uncle, a cousin, a friend, and a father. On August 16th 2021 Donte' was called home and he leaves to mourn him his daughter Brylin Sue, his grandparents Mary Shields and Vernell Haggan, 5 siblings Dewonn Reeves, Desiree Reeves, Dusean Shields, Brandy Shields and Raekwon Williams. 3 Close cousins Nastassja (Starr) Gibson-Shields , Elijah Gibson and Zion Gibson. His aunt LaChandra(Teena) Shields, 10 nieces and nephews and 2 close friends Dontay Perkins and Jeffrey Johnson and many more friends, family and loved ones. We will always remember his smile, his presence and his love for others forever . He touched many lives in ways no one else could or will. We will continue to celebrate the life as we remember with Donte'. We pray for peace to him as we know he didn't always have it. You are love Donte' and will never be forgotten.
