Elaine Crosby

Elaine Louise Crosby (Vontz), age 66, of Lincoln NE, passed away Tuesday December 6th, 2022, Lincoln, NE, after a long battle with Chronic Lung Disease.

Elaine Crosby was born in Beatrice, NE on December 22, 1955, to Donald and Elsie (Dobler) Vontz. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Michelle and husband Bleu Swetland, Lincoln, NE and Stephanie Crosby, Lincoln, NE; Life partner Randy Reuter of 25 years; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, Miranda Swetland and son Kayden Swetland, Kyle Swetland, Erica Larson and Daughter Grace, Kelly and Tony Swetland. 2 brothers Mike and wife Ann Vontz, Lincoln, NE, Randy and wife Susan Baker, Louisville, NE; Sister Rose Stadelmayer of Temecula, CA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Angie Baker and Heidi Vontz.

My Mom's wishes were to be cremated with no funeral or visitation.

She kept a journal for a while and reading it was very emotional. She was a devout Christian. She loved her family and friends very much. She would want everyone who knew her and loved her to remember her in her best moments and days. Keep moving forward carry her in your heart with love and happiness. She is in a better place, with God and as she would say..the Angels. To everyone who loved her, from Michelle, Stephanie and Randy, to you..THANK YOU.
