Emil F. Duffek Obituary (1924 - 2014)

Emil F. Duffek, 89, of Lincoln, passed away October 1, 2014. Born November 30, 1924 in Glover, ND to John and Anna (Hraban) Duffek.Emil graduated from Seward High and the University of Nebraska where he became a teacher. He taught for District 33 in Seward County, and in Exeter, Diller, Norfolk, and Lincoln before retirement.Emil served in the Air Force during WWII and held memberships with The Disabled American Veterans-Chapter 7, Lincoln Downtown Neighborhood Assn., Komensky Club, The King's Men, and St. Mary's Church Choir.He is survived by his brother, John (Alice) Duffek, of Lincoln. Visitation: 5-7pm, Sunday, Oct. 5, with family receiving relatives and friends. Rosary: 7pm Sunday.
