George Maser Jr, 90 of Lincoln passed away Friday November 7, 2014 in Lincoln, NE.George left Lincoln at the age of 17 to work in Buffalo, NY for Curtiss Wright Aircraft. George joined the U.S. Navy at age 18, serving in World War II for 3 years, 3 months, and 28 days ("one hell of an experience"). George returned from service and began work with the U.S. Postal Service retiring after 28 years of service.In October of 1951 George married Arvilla Behrens; from this union a daughter Gina was born. Arvilla passed away in May 1966. In August of 1968 married Betty Graham and in this union received a son, Larry Graham.Proceeded in death by parents, siblings, and wife Arvilla. Survived by wife Betty Maser, Lincoln, daughter Gina Larson, Lincoln, son Larry Graham (wife Roxane), Lincoln. Grandchildren John Schwartz (wife Laura), Seward, Kellie Spier (husband Gary), Murfreesboro, TN, Paul Graham (wife Tina), Lincoln, Tara Meyer (husband Mitchel), Lincoln. Great Grandchildren Jamison, Devin, Grant, Norah, Stasia, Ava. A celebration of George's life will be at 10:30am Tuesday November 11, 2014 at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home, 5200 R St, Lincoln, NE. Following is a reception at Legacy Terrace in the Iron Horse Saloon, 5700 Fremont St, Lincoln, parking available on 58th Street & Anderson Library. Cremation, no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials to People's City Mission in George's name.
