Ilene Janet Roberts

Ilene J. (Ellis) Roberts, Lincoln entered Heaven on March 24th, 2015 at her home in Lincoln; her daughter and husband by her side. She attended Wymore High School and went on to live in the cities of Beatrice, Clatonia and Valparaiso. Ilene worked as a nurse's aide for more than 20 years, and was member of United Methodist Church and American Legion.Ilene enjoyed spending her time fishing and reading.Survived by husband, James Roberts; Daughters, Jan and husband Gregg Yaussi, Terri and husband Steven Kruse; Grandchildren, Heather Hank, Shana and husband Tom DeAngelo, Lisa Lorrain, Johnathan and wife Jacqueline Kruse; Great-grandchildren, Jordan Hank, Aubree Kruse and Karter Switzer. Stepchildren, Dale Roberts, Janene Roberts, Phillip (Molly) Roberts, David Roberts, and Lois Roberts; Step Great-grandchildren Becky, Jaimee, Wayne, Tiffany.Ilene was preceded in death by first husband, Wendell Ellis; her parents, George and Lois Hendricks; and Sister Elva Jean Stephens.Funeral services are Monday March 30 at 10 a.m. Colonial Chapel, Lincoln.
