Ilija Pavljasevic Obituary (1927

Ilija Pavljasevic, 90, of Lincoln, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018. Born to Jure and Ivka (Vilusic) Pavljasevic on October 18th, 1927 in Bosnia. Ilija was an independent, energetic and curious man. He loved to read and write, learn new skills, enjoyed growing fruits and vegetables, was a skilled carpenter and spent a lot of time researching and writing about his family's genealogy. He started learning English at age 70 and got fluent on his own. He collected old family recipes and loved to play chess. He spent his last years taking care of his late wife, Marija. Ilija is survived by his daughter, Dubravka (Zlatko) Kusmic; son, Pred (Slava) Paul; granddaughters, Zeljka (Chris) Hassler, Sonja (Armando Gonzalez) Kusmic, and Ana (Yann Ady) Kusmic; great-grandchildren, Samuel and Elijah Hassler, Mauricio and Maya Gonzalez.
