Mary Jo Kirkpatrick

Mary Jo Kirkpatrick went to meet God February 27, 2019, with whom she had a close relationship all of her life. She was born to Otto Esser and Christina Mary Ludwig Esser on February 4, 1929 in West Bend, Iowa. She attended Algona High School and graduated St Cecilia Academy in 1947. She married Robert Kirkpatrick May 1, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois. She loved to entertain at home or on her boat. She celebrated her 90th birthday this month with the family she adored and those who loved her. She was very active in the Red Hat Society as well as nurturing and caring for her family.She is survived by her two sons, Tim (Susan) Kirkpatrick, Terry Kirkpatrick; daughter-in-law, Sue Kirkpatrick; daughter, Colleen Hughes, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her son Tom Kirkpatrick.
