Matthew John McKelvey, 37, of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Born to Michael and Tammy (Stephens) McKelvey on July 6, 1980 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was employed at BNSF for 17 years.Matthew is survived by his wife; Becky, children; Madison, Grant, Chase, parents; Michael and Tammy McKelvey, brothers; Donnie (Jamie), David McKelvey, grandparents; Leonard and Elizabeth Woosley, father-in-law; Stanley Karel, brother-in-law; Mike (Lisa) Karel, sister-in-law; Jody (Jon) Hartmann, Grandma Glee, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.He is preceded in death by mother-in-law; Nancy Karel, grandparents; Jack and Donna McKelvey.In Lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family for future designation.In honoring his wish to be cremated, there is no viewing.
