Hickman resident Michael S. "Rainbo" Frandsen, 66, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. Funeral service will be 11:00am, Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 5200 R Street, Lincoln, NE. Viewing will be 2 hours prior to services. Frandsen was born November 24, 1948 in Lexington, Nebraska, the son of Raymond and Mildred (Rearden) Frandsen. He graduated from Falls City Sacred Heart High School in Falls City, Nebraska. Mike joined the Navy and served his country in Vietnam. He retired from Nebraska Public Power District. Mike married Debbie Beers on February 14, 2015 in Palmyra, Nebraska. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, woodworking, leatherworking, and making dream catchers. Mike is survived by his wife Debbie of Hickman; daughter, Jasmine Mach and her husband David of Palmyra, NE; grandchildren, Erin Mach and her fiance Bryan Grider, Josie Mach, and Dalton Mach; great grandchild, Brinnly; brother, Frank Frandsen of Forsyth, MO; two sisters, Carmel Furrer-Chesnut and her husband Dale, and Ellie Cross and her husband Eddie all of Lincoln, NE; two nieces, Chrissy, and Carman; and great niece, Ashley; along with numerous friends.He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister-in-law, Sharon Frandsen. 5200 R ST Lincoln, NE 68504
