Oanh Thi Tong, 24, passed away on July 29th, 2020 at Bryan East in Lincoln. She was born to Hung Tong and Loan Duong in Vietnam. Oanh graduated from Lincoln North Star High School in 2016.\nOanh came to the United States in 2013 with her parents. She is the only child in the family. With her hard work and determination, she learned English and helped her parents with all the interpretations for medical appointments and anything that involves important documents. Oanh was also a member of the GDPT Linh Quang Buddhist Youth Association here in Lincoln, Nebraska. As a member, she helped teach Vietnamese classes to younger members, participated in dances for events, as well as being an MC for events. Oanh enjoyed hanging out with friends and family, going on photoshoots, shopping, and many other things. Oanh's favorite color is purple and her favorite flower is sunflowers.\nOanh is survived and adored by her father, Hung Tong; mother; Loan Duong; and all of her relatives and friends.
