Patricia Ann (Schwechtje) Milano, 33, born on November 18,1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Carol Jean Schwechtje. Patricia passed away tragically in a car accident in Lawerence, Kansas on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 along with her husband, Joshua Zachary Milano and father-in-law Ronald Lee Milano.
Patricia and her husband Joshua were residents of Lincoln Nebraska. Patricia graduated North Star High School in Lincoln in 2010, and most recently received her Associates in Business Administration from American InterContinental University.
Patricia married the love of her life Joshua Milano on May 5, 2017 in Nevada, MO. At the time of her death, they were residing in an apartment just east of 48th Street in Lincoln, NE. They had a dog-named “Bear” and attended New Creation church.
She was a baptized member of the New Creation, Seventh Day Adventist church and was part of the gardening club.
She loved to read, watch movies, loved her dog Bear and adored her husband and his family. Most recently she was learning how to sew and was considering signing up for a college baking class. She recently wrote a book and was involved in the youth Sabbath school class. She had the biggest smile and lit up a room with her laugh.
Patricia had a heart of gold. She knew what it was like to struggle and through her street smart survival skills and perseverance she was able to make life work for her and her husband. She had a church community surrounding her and the help of her husband and his family to help her. As part of her contribution to the community that invested in her, she paid it forward by being a volunteer at Bryan Health hospital. She loved her role assisting patients when they were lost and unsure of where to go.
She left behind her mother, Carol Nelson; Uncle, Gary Schweitzer; two sisters-in-law Aimee Smallcomb (Hal), Jennifer Somers (Roger), nephews and nieces Trystin Somers, Erynn Dowling (John), Brennan Hoskins, Max Hoskins, Olivia Hoskins. Many extended cousins, aunts, and uncles.
She was joined in death by her loving and supportive father in law, Ronald Milano and loving husband Joshua Milano; grandparents Kenneth and Dorothy Schweitzer, Aunt Nenita Schweitzer.
