Priscilla L. (Pat) Draper Obituary (1942 - 2015)

Priscilla L. (Pat) Draper, 72, Valparaiso, was called to her Heavenly Father March 24, 2015, while surrounded by her family. Born July 4, 1942 in Wahoo to Emil and Geraldine (Koranda) Egr. Pat was raised on a farm near Prague. Married Kenneth Draper August 10, 1962 and together raised their family in Valparaiso.Pat was a bookkeeper and then a childcare giver to many families in the Valparaiso area. Pat enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, watching hummingbirds and butterflies while outside, and most weekends she would spend time camping out at the lake. She found great joy spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Geraldine Egr; in-laws, Royal and Ada Draper; brother, Rick D. Egr. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Draper; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey (Tammy) Draper, Kurt (Mary) Draper; grandchildren, Robert (fiance Nicole Heyen) Draper, Michelle (Scott) Nice, Stephanie Draper, Jennifer Draper, David Draper, Eric Draper, and Whitney Draper; great grandchildren, soon to arrive Scott A. Nice III; sister and brother-in-law, Sue (Ken) Horky; sister-in-law, Linda Egr; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.Visitation: 4-6:30 p.m. March 27, at St. Mary and Joseph's Catholic Church, 637 S. Iver St., Valparaiso, NE. Rosary to follow at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial: 10 a.m. March 28, at the Church.
