Obituary for Richard S. PolickyRichard "PeeWee" S. Policky, 90, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, March 31, 2018.Richard S. Policky was born November 13, 1927, the son of Ernest and Kathryn (Strezek) Policky. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. PeeWee was a lifelong owner/operator truck driver. He retired from Crete Carrier in 1991. PeeWee enjoyed fishing, gardening, and tinkering with small engines. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion.Richard is survived by his children, Katherine "Kitty" Policky, Richard "Bud" Policky, Jeanie (Charlie) McDougal, and Janet (Kirk) Wiedner; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, Lavern Matulka; and Brother, Eugene Policky.He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ernie Policky.Memorial service will be 11:00 am, Thursday, April 5, 2018, Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 5200 R Street.
