Shawn Martin Rand

Shawn Martin Rand, 54, of Lincoln passed away at his home. He was born on September 20, 1962 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Shawn, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing a friendly game of poker with his many friends, and watching Husker football. Most of all he loved his children dearly. He is survived by his parents; Verl (Al) and Joanna Rand, Ron and Judy Tweedy, John and Velma Kirby, sons; Shawn Jr., Bryan, and Kristoffer, daughters; Ashley and Rebecca. Siblings; Ron Kirby, Randy Kirby, Alynda Rand, Katrien (Grande), RaeJean Hamann, Patricia (Martin) Spurling, Cindy (Gayle) Becwar, Jason (Michelle) Kirby, Les Kirby, Ryan (Irina) Tweedy.Shawn was preceded in death by Shirley Kirby.**In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up at Union Bank and Trust for Ashley and Rebecca Rand.**
