Tosha Adams

Tosha Crystal Adams, 40, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026, in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Tosha was born on December 31, 1985, in Syracuse, Nebraska, to Guy and Cindy (Smith) Mathers. She graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School with the class of 2004 and went on to earn her degree in Business Administration from Southeast Community College.
Tosha began working at the age of 14 at Burger King, where she learned the value of hard work at an early age, but also gained lifelong friends along the way. After college, she began her banking career as a teller at TierOne Bank. Over the years, she continued to grow professionally, working her way up to Banker III as the bank became Great Western Bank, and eventually First Interstate Bank.
Tosha married Jarad Adams on May 31, 2014. They loved to travel to places like the Wisconsin Dells, which they did for their honeymoon and were able to make it back last year with their son. She cherished the time she spent with her family and found joy in photography and watching movies. Tosha was almost always the one behind the camera, capturing the special moments and memories that meant so much to her and her family.
She is survived by her husband, Jarad Adams; son, Doyle Adams; daughter, Zora Adams; parents, Guy and Cindy Mathers; brothers, Ben Mathers and Tyler Mathers; stepmother, Beverly Adams; sisters-in-law, Tara (Henry) Knapp, Amanda (Ben) Reed; along with many uncles, aunts, grandparents, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Norma Smith of Palmyra and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sandi and Doyle Adams of Lincoln.
Her wishes to be cremated will be followed. Visitation with family will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Thursday, September 24, 2026, with a Celebration of Life at 11:00am, Friday, September 25, 2026, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 5200 R Street.
