William (Bill) Spilker, 68 of Malcolm, passed away on June 21, 2022. He was the husband of Corinne Spilker. They shared 42 years of marriage together.\nBorn on April 11, 1954 in Lincoln, Nebraska, he was the son of James and Marion (Kracke) Spilker. He attended Northeast High School and graduated in 1973. Bill worked for BNSF as a locomotive engineer for 36 years and retired in 2014. \nHe is survived by his wife Corinne, children Casey (Kim) Spilker, Andrew Spilker and partner Nicole Sadd, Amy (Anthony) Bemboom, and Cody Spilker and partner Krista Leighty, grandchildren Sophie and Kira Spilker, and Baker Bemboom, sister Rosann (Rick) Keller, step-mother Alice Spilker, sister-in-law Sharon (Dan) Harshman, brother-in-law Roger (fiance Elaine Strukoff) Covalt, mother-in-law Penny Bauer, father-in-law John (Edna) Covalt.\nHe is preceded in death by his mother Marion (Kracke) Spilker, father, James Spilker, and grandparents Rose and Herman Kracke and Anna and William Spilker.\nWorking on the farm from a young age, Bill had a love for animals and vintage farm equipment. Whether working on his acreage, boating on the lake, or loading up the kids for a vacation, Bill loved to spend time outside.
